What I liked: This book walks you through each stage of your son's adolescence. From the preteen years clear into adulthood. I loved how it broke down what is happening to these kids physically, hormonally, and emotionally and then went through how I should react as a parent and how I can help. This book also outlined when to butt out and when to help and, most importantly, what I should be looking for if I suspect there is a problem.What I didn't like: The realization that this is the process we're in and it means the end of their childhood.
I can't imagine anyone who is in any way connected to an adolescent or teenage boy that couldn't use this book!

This book was boring...and didn't tell me anything I didn't already know. Thought it would shed some insight to problems with raising a teenage boy.
This is a God / Christian centered book. Maybe this is noted somewhere, if it is, I missed it entirely. There are a few good points in here, but mostly it is about leading your son in a prayerful and Christ-like manner.
This book has had some great ideas that I plan to incorporate. Some things I found I was doing right and reminded of places I need to work on. Overall the book was good but not great.
Might be okay for very religious Christians. Not for general secular public. Was a mistake for me a Humanist family to order.
I tried to like this book. There are too many bible refrences and cheesy examples. Praying and citing Proverbs to my teen is not going to help. I also purchased Yes, Your Teen is Crazy and that is a great read with great examples on how to deal with life with a teenager. Very relatable.
Very inspiring. love the synchronization of the authors! I am better geared up to be a coach and if possible a mentor for my son!
I highly recommend if, especially for mothers!
please do yourself and your relationship with your son a big favour and get this book. Knowledge is power. You will want to hug and care for your son even more!!!
